Wound Care Products CMC Wound Dressing
CMC Wound Dressing
Sequa®Cel CMC wound dressing is 100% Carboxymethyl Cellulose(CMC) fiber composed CMC Dressing is designed for the management of moderately to heavily exuding partial and full-thickness chronic wounds and acute wounds, and to control minor bleeding in superficial wounds.
A unique quilting design given a reinforced version of CMC dressing which improved the wet strength of the material and retained the dressing integrity when removal.
FEATURES
- High absorbency
- Strong wet strength
- Bacteria locking
- Moist environment maintaining
- Infection reducing
- Less pain
- Gelling property
Gelling and absorbency
- The dressing’s high absorbency comes from the unique gelling property of the material. The high absorbency improves the exudate management capability of the dressing. Typical measurement of dressings absorbency is shown in diagram
Fluid locking
- The unique gelling characteristic of the dressing absorbs and locks the wound fluid within its matrix, helping maintain a moist wound environment without allowing excessive fluid accumulation to reduces the risk of leakage or maceration.
Contours and wet strength
- Its malleable and cohesive property allows the dressing to contour more closely to the wound bed, minimizing the gap for bacteria to proliferate, and enable it to retain integrity when removed from a wound.
Indications
- CMC Dressing is designed for the management of moderately to heavily exuding partial and full-thickness chronic wounds and acute wounds, and to control minor bleeding in superficial wounds.
- CMC Dressing can be used on the following wounds including:
Leg ulcers, pressure ulcers (stage ll-IV) and diabetic ulcers.
Surgical wounds (e.g. post-operative, wounds left to heal by secondary intent and donor sites)
Partial thickness burns
Traumatic wounds (eg,, abrasions and lacerations)
Exudates absorption in oncology wounds (eg. Fungating cutaneous tumors, cutaneous metastases and Kaposi’s sarcomas).
Other indications include cavity wounds and superficial burns. The dressings can be used under compression bandages.

Round or Triangle Hub
Double, triple and quad lumen catheter have round or triangle hub for choice.

Soft Tip
Soft tip reduces trauma to vessel, minimizing vessel erosion, hemothorax and cardiac tamponade. Single, double, triple and quad lumen is available for choice.

ECG Cable
ECG Cable is avalaible.

Depth Making
Depth marking assists in accurate placement of central venous catheter from the right or left subclavian or jugular vein.

Radiopacity
Radiopacity facilitates confirmation of catheter placement. The multi-lumen version's tips are more radiopaque, which makes it easy to confirm the placement of fluoroscopic tip.

Antibacterial CVC
The tubing is made from polyurethane which mixed with silver-containing zirconium phosphate at nanometer level, when the catheter is placed into the body, Ag+ will be released to inhibit bacteria growing.
