Blood purification products Hemoperfusion Cartridge
Hemoperfusion Cartridge (MG150 / MG250 / MG350)
The MG Disposable Hemoperfusion Cartridge is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, single-use device designed to remove the middle-to-large molecular substances such as cytokines. This product contains adsorbent polymer beads that adsorb the middle-to-large molecular substances as blood passes through the device. This product is placed in a blood pump circuit.
This product is expected to provide hemoperfusion, in order to remove medium and large molecular substances (such as cytokines) from the blood and improve prognosis, with indication of adjuvant treatment for End-stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Sepsis.
FEATURES
- The mask conforms to the physiological shape of the face;
- Good sealing performance, soft and comfortable;
- Standard connector;
- Different colors distinguish different specifications, which is easy to identify;
- It has a removable endoscope type.
FEATURES
The MG Series hemoperfusion cartridges from Biosun Medical are designed for broad-spectrum adsorption of toxins in critical care settings, particularly targeting conditions like sepsis, drug overdose, and liver failure. Here are the key features based on available technical information and clinical use.

Absorbent
Macroporous Adsorption Resin The MG cartridges use specially treated polymeric resins with high surface area and controlled pore size (e.g., MG150, MG250, MG350). This enables efficient adsorption of mid-to-large molecular weight toxins (5,000–50,000 Daltons). Bead Surface Modification - Prevents clotting by repelling platelets/proteins. - Maintains adsorption efficiency by minimizing protein fouling.

Targeted Toxin Removal
Endotoxins (LPS): Critical for sepsis management. Inflammatory Cytokines: TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β (key drivers of cytokine storms). Drugs/Toxins: Barbiturates, chemotherapeutic agents, mushroom toxins, etc. Bilirubin & Bile Acids: Useful in liver failure support. Myoglobin/UREMIC Toxins: Supplemental clearance in rhabdomyolysis or kidney injury.

Absorption Mechanism
Toxins (middle and large molecular , protein-bound toxins) diffuse into pores → trapped via van der Waals forces/hydrophobic interactions.

Practical Clinical Applications
ESRD: Adsorbs metabolic products and uremic toxins produced by renal failure patient Sepsis/SIRS: Adsorbs endotoxins and cytokines. Acute Intoxications: Rapid removal of lipophilic drugs/poisons. Liver Failure Support: Reduces bilirubin and ammonia. Adjuvant Therapy in MODS: Mitigates inflammatory mediators in multi-organ dysfunction.
Mode of Action
Hemoperfusion (HP), Hemoperfusion + Hemodialysis (HP+HD), Hemoperfusion + CRRT (HP+CRRT)
