Suction Catheter
The ABLE® Suction catheter can aspirate the viscous secretion in the trachea and unexpected inner vomit in order to ensure the respiratory passage free, utilizing the effect of negative pressure.
A suction catheter is a medical device which provides suction by being attached to a suction machine. Suction can be used to clear liquids and slurries away from an area of concern, and it is utilized in many different aspects of medical care.

Material
The PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is Flexible & Soft: Allows for easier navigation through the natural curves of the airway (nose, pharynx, trachea) with reduced risk of trauma compared to stiffer materials. Transparent: Enables visualization of the color, consistency, and amount of secretions being suctioned, which is crucial for patient assessment. Smooth Surface: Minimizes friction during insertion and removal.
Connector End
Features a standard connector designed to securely attach to the suction tubing coming from the suction source (wall unit or portable machine).
Design & Tip
Open-Ended Tip features a single large opening at the distal end for efficient suctioning of thick or copious secretions. Whistle Tip (Side Ports) features one or more small holes (eyes) on the sides near the tip, in addition to or instead of a large end hole. This design: Reduces the risk of mucosal trauma and suctioning directly onto tissue. Helps prevent the catheter from sticking to the airway wall during suction. Provides more even suction distribution.
