marinas naturales. Se form\u00f3 un gel hidrof\u00edlico fuerte para lograr su alta propiedad de absorci\u00f3n cuando el ap\u00f3sito que entra en contacto con las heridas exsuda, lo que ayuda a controlar los niveles de secreci\u00f3n de la herida y minimizar la contaminaci\u00f3n bacteriana. No es necesario eliminar la fibra de alginato atrapada en la herida debido a su biodegradabilidad. El alginato de sodio se convierte en gel cuando est\u00e1 en contacto con los exudados de la herida, lo que ayuda a mantener un ambiente h\u00famedo que favorece el proceso de cicatrizaci\u00f3n. La naturaleza gelificante del alginato tambi\u00e9n ayuda a eliminar el ap\u00f3sito sin da\u00f1ar el tejido reci\u00e9n
